Where to Stay When Visiting Capital One (Tysons)
Capital One's headquarters is in Tysons. Three airports serve the DC area — and Metro reaches some campuses. Which you pick decides the trip.
Capital One is a bank and financial-services company (credit cards, banking, and auto loans), headquartered at 1680 Capital One Dr, McLean, VA 22102. That's Tysons — Northern Virginia's high-rise edge city in McLean, home to Capital One, Freddie Mac, Hilton, and Booz Allen, now stitched to DC and Dulles by Metro's Silver line.
“Capital One's tower is the tallest thing in Tysons — you can't miss it. Stay at the Watermark in its own complex, ride the Silver line, and fly Dulles.”— Rachel Julian, Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Which airport — and how far?
Three airports serve the DC area. From Tysons, Dulles (IAD) is about 20 minutes west and Reagan National (DCA) about 25 southeast — DCA is better for short domestic hops, IAD for long-haul and international. Baltimore (BWI) is a farther ~50 minutes. Tysons is on Metro's Silver line, a straight ride from Dulles.
