Which airport — and how far?

Two options. William P. Hobby (HOU), southeast of the city, is the closer ride to downtown — roughly 20 minutes outside rush hour — and usually the quicker in-and-out. George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), in the north, is ~30–35 minutes but carries far more connections, so it's the pick if you're flying a longer or international itinerary. For a downtown-only Chevron visit, Hobby is the shorter door-to-door.

Where should you stay near Chevron?

Downtown, full stop.
