Hotel F&B Revenue Leakage Calculator

Updated July 2026

Your business travelers eat every night. The question is where. This calculator shows how much of their food-and-beverage spend leaves your property, and what a small capture-rate improvement is worth per year.

How the math works

Occupied room-nights (rooms × occupancy × 365) × your business-traveler share = business-guest nights. Multiply by daily discretionary F&B spend for the total pool. Your capture rate keeps some of it; the rest walks to the restaurant down the street. The scenario slider prices each captured point. Business travelers are the highest-frequency, least price-sensitive diners a property has, and the ones most likely to default to wherever friction is lowest. That is a design problem, not a demand problem. Our advisory practice and the Sales-Ready standard exist to fix it.
